Summary:

The Solar Installer will assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for our growing team! Great pay! Paid bi-weekly! $22-28/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install solar panels on roofs and other structures.
• Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customer's needs and expectations
• Connect panels to the power grid.
• Follow building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.
• Ensure that equipment is weather sealed.
• Perform routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read building plans.
• Ability to read equipment manuals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work at heights.
• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift at least 35-45 pounds at a time.
